The Artists’ Village in Tzukim – A Creative Oasis in the Arava
In the heart of the picturesque village of Tzukim, in the Central Arava, lies a unique complex that was once a Nahal military outpost. Today, it has been transformed into a vibrant Artists’ Village, where local artists, creators, and therapists bring their visions to life.
Step into the galleries and workshops to meet the talented artists, hear their unique stories of settling in the Arava, and experience their art and craftsmanship up close.
At the Artists’ Village, you can browse and purchase a wide variety of locally made art, including works in wood, iron, concrete, and stone. You'll also find handmade jewelry, natural cosmetics, second-hand fashion, and more. The village features a natural products store, a falafel stand, and a bar serving alcoholic beverages.
In the Main Gallery, you'll find the Artists’ Market, showcasing a selection of works by village artists, with art and handmade products available for purchase—perfect for days when individual studios may not be open.
Every Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the studios open their doors, and the village comes to life with a festive atmosphere.
Nanu – A Place for Food, Art, and Coffee
Located inside the Main Gallery, Nanu serves delicious breakfast and lunch, along with coffee, cakes, herbal infusions, and special seasonal treats.
