Pre- arrangement
Chaya and Gideon Regolski have been members of Faran for over 40 years. They were once farmers and dairymen and decided as senior members of the community to turn to the field of tourism. Gideon has been a guide of the south of the country for 25 years. They open their home to display a variety of interesting objects and collections, which tell the story of their lives and the life of this country.
Enjoy listening to a fascinating story of a dinosaur that lived in the area 85 million years ago and swam in the ancient sea that was- once-upon-a-time, right here!
Here you can view heating and cooking utensils of the builders of the Negev from the 1940s, a tin cup from the Black Shabbat, various bottles, objects of Bedouins who lived in the desert until recent generations, items from well drills and more.
Gideon also demonstrates stoneware carving and also conducts interesting workshops for children and the whole family: stone engraving and stoneware carving.
Here you can purchase homegrown dates, beautiful knitwork and homemade necklaces made form a variety of materials alongside ancient style carved and engraved stone items.
Looking forward to meeting you!
