Hatzeva Field School, belonging to the SPNI (Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel) chain of schools, is located in the heart of the Arava, in close proximity to a variety of routes. One of the field school's most prominent hallmarks is the laughing thrush from the Timaliidae family, a fascinating bird with a hierarchical group lifestyle. The study of them has continued for more than forty years, and together with the school's researchers, you can go out into the desert and meet the birds at close range. The training team at Hatzeva Field School offers varied tours throughout the Arava, both day and night, for all age groups.
The field school hostel offers, clean and comfortable accommodation, with a dining room serving kosher meals.
For those interested in outdoor camping, the field school offers an overnight camping ground – 'million-star' accommodation!
