About Us?
Shuki and Kobi, winners of the 2019 Negev Environment Award.
We grew up and were educated in the city of Be’er Sheva. B.S.
Kobi my partner, left his job at Matrix after and decided to join me on the journey.
In those days the subject of recycling and reuse was still evolving. After being exposed to the subject and recognizing its importance, I decided to study the subject in depth. Understanding that economics, the environment, society and spirit are the tools for success has helped us develop our educational, spiritual and practical approach according to which we have developed the model of renewal and innovation.
The principles of renewal are based on human and environmental values that are expressed in every aspect of our lives, from the way our children are raised to the personal treatment that each participant in the program we have developed receives from us.
Elementary and high school students participate in the educational track we have developed, during which the students collect objects from garbage, learn about them and renew them in personal works that combines professional and spiritual tools. Upon completion of the work, a new product is obtained that expresses the student's inner world in combination with environmental and social values.
Our program succeeds in bringing the world of sustainability and recycling to at-risk youth populations.
Our educational activities focus mainly on working with underprivileged populations: an emergency shelter for girls at risk, an adult population with disabilities, a housing system in the "Yachdav" association, low-functioning adult autistics in the "Iris Village" - The Israeli Society for Autistic Children Association, and "Branko Weiss" school in Be'er Sheva .
On our arrival to the Middle Arava, we became involved in educational activities in elementary and high schools in the area. Additionally, over the years, we have conducted hundreds of workshops for a wide range of populations.
