Prem Ursula Rustic Restaurant, located at the entrance to Zukim boasts a European concept menu, that does not ignore its desert location.
The restaurant is run by Shardha and Nitzan, residents of Zukim, who together with Chef Danny Popper the Shoham Degani (also residents of Zukim) created a high-standard menu based on fresh and local ingredients and special seasonal dishes adapted to greenhouse crops, grown next to the restaurant.
The plush wooden furniture combined with colorful and modern murals, retro images and words such as Zwiebelkuchen and Spätzle on the menu combined with happy background music create a diverse, colorful and special ambience in the heart of the monotonous desert.
Feel free to stop for a light or full meal if you are a couple, group of friends or family with children and find the perfect meal for you.
The restaurant's signature dish is Alan Talmore's boutique sausages made specially and served in a Berlin style, or roasted cauliflower on a bed of freekeh (smoked green wheat over a fire) with homemade green tahini and homemade mixed nut Jaleh. Home-made duet of ravioli or gnocchi in our unique sauce (based on white wine and truffle oil) with broccoli are popular options in the restaurant.
All this and of course locally brewed Arava draught beer, from the adjacent brewery, is perfect to accompany any dish you choose.
Our homemade desserts are truly scrumptious (such as our famous strudel or tempting tiramisu) – come and discover fine Arava desert dining :-)
